Cedar Key Pics

They day before the fun week with Caleb in Melbourne, my Mom, Dad, brothers, Landis and I went out to Cedar key to visit my Grandpa.

Landis with Nonny and Great-Grandpa. We had 4 generations together!

Swinging with Uncle Caleb.

Back from a nice walk with Grandpa.

Landis is not so sure about riding on Nonny's shoulders.

Landis, Aaron Scott and Caleb Pics :)

A few pictures from Caleb's visit to Melbourne.

Aaron Scott and Landis. Just look at those big blue eyes! I think Landis is looking more and more like Aaron Scott as he gets older.

The 3 boys together. They are so goofy!

Caleb playing with Landis. Caleb is a very fun uncle!

The big boys, absolutely thrilled to be running errands. Goat had 2 oil changes to do, on the Honda and the Z, and one boy helped with each oil change. He got them each a nice cold orange soda to drink after working out in the heat, so they have matching orange mustaches.

My Ridiculously Verbal Baby

Landis just asked for "more free-sies" (raisins.) I told him he needed to sit down at the table. He climbed into his seat and said "I sit in seat." Wow! Sentences! He is starting the get the hang of pronouns - I, you, yours, mine, ours, theirs... It's so much fun watching his language develop.

Yesterday we discovered a new favorite snack - plain yogurt with raisins. I knew he loved raisins, but I thought the plain yogurt would be too sour, but Landis, and his friends Aerin and Teagan, who were here for the afternoon, all loved it. I love finding healthy snacks that he loves too!

Landis is also having a great time with Caleb's happy meal toy that he accidentally left here. It's a little container filled with cards with pictures and facts about animals. His new favorite game is identifying all of the animals. "Birdie!" "Cat!" "Fishies!" He is really into animals these days. We went to a pet store a few days ago and he LOVED it. We walked around together, watching and learning the names of all of the animals. His favorites were the rabbits, and of course, the "birdies." We'll have to go back again soon.
