Tropical Storm Fay is headed our way. So far, we're just experiencing typical Florida thunderstorm weather, but the wind is supposed to start picking up in later this afternoon. We spent yesterday evening bringing in items from the yard that could fly around in the wind, nailing down a loose shingle on the roof and making a last minute run to the store for batteries. We have lots of water and canned food in case the power goes out. Schools are closed today, so the 2nd day of 3rd grade will have to be postponed for Aaron Scott.
Update: The storm has reached us. I've posted a video of the view from our living room.
