Goat, Landis and some neighbors. One of the neighbors pictured moved into the neighborhood when it was first created in the early '70s. He says he's only seen flooding like this once before, about 10 years ago.

I am resisting the urge to call you and make sure that Landis is safely in bed, and not swimming down the street in his attempt for a 9th gold medal...
And, I hope that the Z car is not floating down the street either.

All is quiet here in Alachua County. I think Fay let it all loose on Brevard County, and doesn't have anything left. (Famous "last words?")

wow erin! aside from all the water your neighborhood looks very cute! good choice in picking the high road...so the hurricane hit fl 3 times, eh? that's crazy! what did you guys do the whole time? ps landis is a doll! i love all your stories.
